Default Faction PVE Solutions

I posted earlier a nasty little complaint about faction grinding and sweatshop faction gain. Someone noted earlier that we should offer solutions, so I will start with the suggestions please feel free to add here...

1) Limit the easy faction runs.

2) Increase the PVP Faction gain

3)Revolutionary Idea for people who like to farm alot... Instead of selling drops, have the option to trade the drops in for (lets say 1/3 the value you d get at a merchant) for Faction. So gold drops you may get 300 gp for at a merchant will give you 100 faction. Title it "Donating to the Luxon or Kurzick War Efforts". This will do 4 things 1) will ensure that Faction is gained from actually playing the game or killing something 2) Will (potentially) reduce the amount of money that farmers make from farming. 3) Will help to strike a balance between faction gain and monetary gain (you will have to choose between being rich or having faction.) 4) Will keep people more on track to keep going through "correct" game play instead of becoming faction sweatshops... Just a thought

Only if the amount of faction points rewarded is increased dramatically. More below.

This would increase the current PvE mooching problem. A PvEers enters a PvP match and goes afk to earn free faction - you gain points even for being on the loosing team. By changing what was option 1, Anet would further increase the mooching problem.

This isn't bad, though I would prefer to see a higher reward system (ie more points on those repeatable quests) and a merged NPC rewards/transfer faction person. This way, when the player turns in faction towards his alliance he/she is then given amber/jade - instead of one or the other. This would go a long way towards making the game less a faction grind.
If the option for trading in items for faction is there, I would sure do it. Course, I have only found one green item (I hate farming... it's so boring).
